We’re thrilled to introduce this gorgeous, very rare, deer resistant Salvia relative from Bolivia. Bursting into bloom from mid-Summer until end of Fall, large 10” sprays of vibrant “cornflower” blue flowers are beautifully presented on numerous upright sturdy stems. The flaring richly colored 2” tubular blooms are a welcome sight for our hummingbird friends during the late season. Multi-branching to 3-4’ tall and wide, with pleasing, mint-scented, quilted, 3”-long lance-shaped leaves. Do grow in well-drained soil with a 1” side-dress of compost in Spring. We cut ours back to 2’ in Winter to promote best habit next season.
