A Springtime cottage garden must have! Extra double, deep purple, 2” blooms dangle gracefully from multi-branching stems to 30” tall. Blooming from Spring to early Summer, they’re charming in any garden or container (3+ gal) and invite hummingbirds and butterflies. Bred for cut flower production and especially long lasting in a vase. Do grow A. vulgaris in rich, composty soil and don’t let them dry out and you’ll never see a leaf miner! Cut back to 1” after bloom to refresh foliage and again in Fall. Self-sows!
