Flowering YEAR ROUND, this rambling, shrubby Aloe hits its peak bloom in Winter. Masses of 1’ long, cheerful canary yellow bloom spikes on slender stems attract pollinators from near and far. Native to South Africa’s Eastern Cape it can reach up to 5’ tall by 6’ wide with a relaxed habit, but generally looks best when kept pruned in Spring to about 3’x3’. Long, narrow blue-green leaves grow in tufts at the end of branches. Well drained soil is important for success. Grown from seed, so flower color may vary with some plants sporting orange or red flowers.
