This delightful little trailing plant is related to Snapdragons. With its small Ivy-like leaves and lilac flowers, with yellow throats, produced Spring thru Summer. It makes a very useful small-scale groundcover or trailer for rock crevices in shadier areas. Topping out at 4” tall Cymbalaria is best grown in average, medium moisture, well drained soils. It loves our Mediterranean cool summers and moderate winters. Kenilworth Ivy is not a fan of humidity. This little ground cover will reseed but is easy to control. No real pest issues but occasionally the snails will visit. Nice in hanging baskets too!
