Italian Bugloss, Cape Forget-Me-Not

Smothering itself in richest royal blueness, EASY and deer resistant 15”x15” Anchusa capensis creates a quick explosion of captivating color. Happiest with plenty of Sun – right up in front of your garden or container – I love it combined with reds and yellows. Blooms for about 1.5 months, then cut it back to 3” for a second blast of color. Tolerates some dryness and clay but best in rich, well-drained soil. Often grown as a self-sowing annual, it can live over and bloom in mild winter areas. Self-sows!

size matters
This plant is described AS 15 x15 - It actually grows to about 4' tall /3' wide. It's beautiful and hardy but take care in where you want it.
