The Lenten Rose is the unsung champion of the shady flower bed. We can ignore them, neglect them and even abuse them, but our ever so heroic Hellebores are just unbreakable, returning year after year in late Winter. Flawless ‘Wedding Bells’ is one of the heaviest bloomers – We counted 41 simultaneous blooms on a single plant last season. Pure white, pendulous, 3” blooms are very double with a green eye. Deer/rabbit resistant, but protect from snails and slugs. Cut back old leaves in fall to encourage tidy new growth and compost yearly for optimum vigorosity. Grows to 20”x20”.
