A spectacular heirloom from Tennessee, this lovely purple-fruited WHOPPER (to 5" across) is similar to a Brandywine in texture & flavor - super-sweet & perfectly firm! This variety is believed to have be introduced by Cherokee Indians (hence the name) in the late 1800s. The vines grow to 4' & they’ll want to be staked or caged to support a plentiful bounty of hefty mid/late-season tomatoes, which will take about 80/85 days to mature. Plant at least 18" apart, does best with HOT sunny days.
