Wood Violet, Common Violet
Fragrance delicio! Hard to find, these most fragrant of all Violets hail from mysterious origins and are unknown in the wild. Once grown by Empress Josephine at Malmaison, the petite, lavender, double blooms are intensely scented, inflaming Parma Passion with a single sniff! Blooms in Spring (with lesser Summer bloom) atop a dense, slowly spreading mound of shiny heart shaped leaves to 6” tall and up to 16” across. Use under shrubs or as shade edging, we love them potted up for easy scentual access! Best in rich soil. Can be wintered indoors in colder climates.
Our priority is to deliver outstanding customer service, and we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction!
If your plants arrive damaged or fail to thrive within 30 days of receipt, we will gladly issue a store credit or refund for the original purchase price of the plants.

Odorata Indeed!
In my 9b garden these bloomed late winter and early spring. The blooms do not survive in any heat. But, the scent is absolutely intoxicating while it lasts.
