If I could bottle the feeling that this wonderful, easy, but rarely seen Summer thru Fall bloomer gives off, I would put Prozac out of business! Tons of cheeriest, 2”, sunny yellow flowers display spherical jet black “eyes” July thru October. Attractive, bushy, deep green foliage & upright stems create a dense, bushy form 3-5’ tall x 3-4’ wide. Performs best in rich, loamy soil & an excellent companion to grasses. We combined ours with red Dahlia coccinea ‘True Wild Form’ – happy-joy! Butterflies & birds. Deer resistant. Self sows!
