This unique “Beardstongue” introduction from Joy Creek nursery will knock your socks off! A rich fuchsia pink that almost glows in the dark, the 2” flowers sport white throats with dark red lines. Appearing in summer, the flared tubular flowers seem to climb the 2' high stems as if racing each other to the top & are much beloved by hummingbirds. Slender green leaves provide a refreshing contrast to the vivid blooms. Give this gal full sun when planted near the coast but a bit of relief from the midday sun in hotter climates. You will want to make this beauty a focal point in your garden, be that in the ground or a decorative pot. Clean up in winter & avoid over-fertilizing.
