Fully double with paper-thin petals that bely the robust nature of these spring-blooming bulbs. This selection offers a range of beguiling, warm tones, from glimmering coppers to burnt reds and moody oranges. Ranunculus can be planted in containers or in garden beds spaced 4” to 6” and at a depth of 1” to 2”. In zones 9 & 10, plant bulbs in well drained soils in fall for early spring blooms. In mild regions, dormant bulbs can be left in the ground. Elsewhere, bulbs can be planted in early spring for late spring into early summer blooms. In zones 8 and under bulbs can be lifted and stored to ensure years and years of beautiful blooms. Deer are typically not interested.
