Easy, rare and outrageous, here’s a real treat for you collectors of subtropicals. This Eupatorium relative from Mexico forms a multi-branching shrub 8’ tall or more and blooms Fall - Spring here. The flower clusters are nicely displayed well above the foliage and look like giant Ageratum blooms and are fragrant too! The leaves are a beautiful, velvety green, large and tropical looking, with dark violet veining. The very upright stalks and stems are deep maroon/purple. Bartlettina thrives (and grows fast) in bright shade and moist, rich soil.
