Native to Santa Cruz County & north to Siskyou County, “California Mist Maiden” grows naturally in Winter-moist, rocky areas. The delicate, shiny, scalloped leaves form a charming, creeping mat. The dainty, funnel-shaped flowers are white with yellow throats on 6” to 9” stems. Plant in well-drained soil that stays wet in Winter & dries out in Summer & Fall. Rare - even in the wild.
