Tolerant of ANY SOIL – including CLAY – this fast and resilient shrub, a cultivar of “Western Mock Orange,” explodes into a grand cloud of bloom from late Spring into Summer. Held on long arching branches, the clusters of double 1.5” pure white double blooms emit a heady fragrance – orange-blossom with a hint of pineapple. Reaches 8’ high and 6’ wide with pretty, toothed, bright green 3” leaves. Use it as a background shrub, or in those tough spots that have you stumped. Prune back hard every 5 years. Blooms best with at least half day sun, fertile soil and moderate Summer water. Native to CA and the Northwest. Deer and rabbit resistant! Deciduous.
