A PERENNIAL Phacelia?! Be still, my beating heart! We are thrilled to bring you this perennial species of one of our favorite California native wildflowers! Blooming early Spring all the way into Fall, the purple-pink flowers rise 1-2’ above the foliage on “fiddlehead” stems that unfurl slowly with each successive bloom. Felted, silvery leaves form a dense mat of foliage about 1’ tall and wide, looking fantastic at the front of a low-water flower bed. Provide good drainage for best health. Grown from seed, flower color may vary slightly with occasional whites or pinks cropping up. *Tiny hairs on Phacelias can cause skin dermatitis for some people, it’s advisable to wear long sleeves and gloves when gardening around them.
