Pelargonium

Often referred to as Geraniums, Pelargoniums are long flowering tender perennials, making them a great choice for late Spring to Fall gardens. Blooming in hues from white and pink to red, purple, and orange, Pelargoniums have showy flowers borne on clusters on branching stems, often with fragrant lemon or rose-scented foliage that can be used for potpourri. The Pelargonium plant blooms best in full sun to part sun with well-drained soil and is easy to care for in flower beds, containers, and hanging baskets. Depending on the climate, it can be grown as a perennial or annual and makes a colorful and often sweet-smelling house plant.
