A pretty sub-shrub from the arid Tehuacan-Cuicatlan region of Mexico. It grows to 2’ tall and blooms profusely through the Summer with light pink flowers. It has become one of the favorite shrubs on the hummingbird buffet in my garden and one that I myself would not do without. It is really tough and goes through a dry summer without any water at all. If you want it to look more lush, just water it a little to plump it up.
