Enjoy fantastic lemony flavor with this sweet and savory easy-to-grow Thyme. Wonderful for seasoning fish, chicken, soups, teas, “adult beverages”, salads and anything else that could benefit from a bright citrusy flavor, it forms a compact mound up to 1’ high and 2’ wide – spreading over time to form a dense, weed-suppressing groundcover. Lovely in a container (1 gal.+) or edging a bed where its fragrance can be released each time it’s brushed. Lavender bee and butterfly-attracting edible flowers emerge in Summer. Harvest leaves often for best form. Provide good drainage for a happy plant. Deer and drought tolerant. Winter deciduous.
