Stylomecon
Seldom seen in cultivation, when this rare CA native poppy blooms, it’s a sight to behold! Lovely 2” glowing orange, 4-petalled blooms display a prominent peacock’s crown of golden stamens against a showy ruby eye. “Lily-of-the-Valley” scented! Here’s the trick: this poppy likes good soil with excellent drainage – so toss a couple of handfuls of gravel into your planting hole or grow in a container. To 1-2’ tall.

Special Annual that is Hard to Grow
This is the second year that I've grown this wonderful annual. I purchased a total of six plants and all have flowered beautifully. I have not succeeded in growing it from seed, so glad to buy them!
