This extremely lovely aromatic perennial “Horehound” needs NO SUMMER WATER! It makes a perfect foreground plant for a dry garden and is great for dressing up the woody lower branches of many shrubs. From 4-12” tall in part shade and about 2’ across, its dense sage green quilted foliage draws you in with a sort of 3-D effect and the slender white edging of each leaf makes it stand out. Whorls of small lavender flowers appear in leaf axils in mid-Summer. Trouble free, it attracts lots of friendly and interesting bugs!
