Do you like to eat a lot of kale all year long? We do too! A high yielding, dark green curly kale standing 18-24” tall, with modestly sweet and earthy flavor. Harvesting after a light frost will only sweeten those leaves. We’ve found these leaves to be an absolute delight. Not so tough that they’ll chip a tooth if eaten uncooked, not so wimpy that they can’t stand up to a little braising. Versatility is something we love in a kale. Provide consistent moisture with fertile, well-drained soil high in organic matter for the best crop. Harvest by clipping individual leaves or the whole plant. Best for planting in early spring until about 9 weeks before frost.
