Just when so much of your garden is “going to seed” you can rely on this vigorous & EASY late season perennial to bring on plenty of flashy deep coppery-red color & buckets of long lasting 2” cut flowers. Upright & multistemmed to 3’ high & 30” wide, the eye-catching shades of yellow, tangerine, & red “sun hats” make their appearance August to October. Lovely with late season blues like Delphinium 'Bellamosum', blue Salvias, or the black of Scabiosa atropurpurea ‘Black’. Can tolerate intense heat & clay but best in rich soil.
