The beautiful texturally rich foliage and abundant blooms of “Heather”, but on an evergreen shrub that can reach 8’ high and wide! This unusual member of the nightshade family from Chile is extremely multi-branching from the base with a mostly upright habit. However, in Summer, when the .5” tubular flowers erupt on the tip of the branches, they weigh them down giving the plant a lovely arching form. These plants have been grown from seed, so flower color is a bit variable and can range from pale violet to white. Best with good drainage. Fire resistant.
