This lovely “Twinspur” is a great way to add coral tones to a late summer & fall garden. First forming a 12-18” tall plant with delicate & upright green foliage, beginning in mid-summer it flushes out an endless parade of 1/2” soft coral flowers. These open-face, funnel-shaped blooms are popular with bees & hummers, making it a valuable addition to a fall pollinator garden. Hailing from South Africa & at home in our Mediterranean climate, once established it is very heat & drought tolerant. Use this hardy perennial wherever you want splash of coral-pink. Hardy enough to plant among other dry garden plants. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in sun to light shade. Evergreen in zones 9b & higher, but loves a good hard pruning to refresh.
