A perfect Rose for our foggy Bay locales, ‘Gay Princess’ has demurely shell-pink but heavily cologne-d 4-5” double flowers in clusters, blooming from Spring into Fall. It is a carefree healthy plant and besides ... the name is just so fabulous. Being a floribunda, it’s an easy, floriferous addition to the garden. Upright and bushy - it’s of medium-size at 3-4’ high and 3’ wide, so it can inhabit a myriad of garden spaces. We’ve been growing on in a half-wine barrel for ages! Bred by “Papa Floribunda” Gene Boerner, it’s a cross between ‘Spartan’ and ‘The Farmer’s Wife’. I’m giving this Rose two snaps up!
