This rare, somewhat curious & yet striking perennial bears, from June thru September, a great profusion of showy 2” reddish-brown “Mexican Hat” flowers. Fast, carefree, & easy to grow in ordinary or even POOR SOIL, it looks good in both wild & composed gardens & makes a very fun cut flower. To 3’ high & 1.5’ wide.
