The epitome of romantic spring bloomers! With 3” wide, ruffley white flowers edged in a range of hues from deepest burgundy to perky pink this harbinger of spring will add charm and elegance to any garden. Strong stems and a long vase life make this an exquisite cut flower. Ranunculus can be planted in containers or in garden beds spaced 4” to 6” and at a depth of 1” to 2”. In zones 9 & 10, plant bulbs in well drained soils in fall for early spring blooms. In mild regions, dormant bulbs can be left in the ground. Elsewhere, bulbs can be planted in early spring for late spring into early summer blooms. In zones 8 and under bulbs can be lifted and stored to ensure years and years of beautiful blooms.
