Big, bold and beautiful! This classic eggplant has been setting the standard since 1902. Later to mature, and producing quality fruit averaging 2 lbs., its Flesh is slightly nutty with a good meaty texture. Harvest at their peak when fruit is 5” - 6 1/2” inches long with shiny, tender skin. Harvest frequently to encourage more production and the largest fruit. In the hottest climates give them a little afternoon shade to decrease blossom drop. Suitable for growing in ground and in containers. A little plant support during fruiting will guarantee a long and bountiful harvest season.
