This durable African Daisy pumps out a succession of endless 3” red flowers from late fall thru spring, blooming at a time when not much else in our gardens provides color. First forming a mat of silvery-green lobed leaves 12-14" wide x 4-6" tall, this drought tolerant, long blooming daisy produces an abundance of fiery, nectar-rich blooms much coveted by bees, hummers and butterflies. Evergreen, it's perfect for adding color to a sunny bed, jazzing up a mixed container or for spilling out of a hanging basket. It can also be employed as a low border and is drought tolerant enough to add pizzazz to a dry garden bed. It is easy to grow, needing only good drainage, some sun, and is compact enough to put almost anywhere you want a splash of color. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun to light shade. Deer resistant.
