Native to Madagascar, Kalanchoe succulents are prized for their oval-shaped, often scallop-edged, green foliage topped with oodles of tiny, colorful, bell-shaped flowers that bloom at the end of Winter into Spring. This super drought-tolerant, deer-resistant plant has thick foliage that turns red or red-rimmed when grown in full sun. Its colorful flowers attract hummingbirds and range in color from red to pink, yellow to orange, and white. Not a fan of cold or frost, these tropical succulents make fab houseplants in colder climates and can be grown outside in warm areas as perennials. Typically flowering after a series of 14-hour nights, this drought-resistant and deer-resistant plant will light up both indoors and outdoors with its pretty foliage and pops of color!
