The Lobelia plant is a compact, colorful flowering annual groundcover known for its fountains of charming flowers spilling over evergreen foliage. Blooming in early Summer to Fall, and sometimes into Winter, Lobelias are happy in sun to part shade with well-drained soil and are easy re-seeders. Their beautiful trailing habits work wonderfully for groundcovers, in containers, window boxes, hanging baskets, and shady garden beds, while their flowers bloom in beautiful shades of purples, whites, pinks, and blues.
