Five gold stars for this native annual’s cheerfulness, superb flower power, sweet fragrance, ease of growth & generally charming personality. Our plants began blooming in late Spring & didn’t let up til FALL. WITH NO ADDITIONAL WATER. We grew it in both rich soil & poor, with Summer water & with no Summer water & it took our abuse & our care in stride equally well. Stems are sturdy & great for cutting & the flowers have a sweet apple-like perfume. Grows to 2’ tall & as wide with thin, inconspicuous foliage, & 3/4” blooms that resemble a verrry tiny Scabiosa. SO valuable (& habitat enhancing!) for its long bloom, we’re happy to add the “Yellow Pinchusion” to our dossier! Thanks again to Jim Duggan for making our acquaintance with this native annual.
