Need a heat and drought loving, clay tolerant, deer resistant shrub? Like a “Dusty Miller” on steroids, this remarkable plant grows 3-4’ tall and up to 8’ across (though it’s easy to prune smaller). Striking, silvery-white filigreed leaves form a bright and showy, dense mound decorated Spring to mid-Summer with rosy lavender fluff balls held on long, white stems (good for cutting!). Fast-growing, so give it room to show off. Great choice for hillsides, neglected side yards, as well as any low-water garden. Hardy to 15-20 degrees. It has inhabited a very dry, neglected spot in our parking lot for many years and always looks fantastic!
