An extremely pretty (but tough!) ornamental grass that forms a tidy evergreen clump 1’ high & wide. Lovely & low maintenance planted in swaths as a groundcover, used as an edger for beds, or planted in a container – it stays tight & tidy & doesn’t reseed or spread aggressively. Produces silvery showy long-lasting flower spikes in Spring or Summer, reaching up to 3’ tall – perfect for adding movement in the garden. Deer resistant & tolerant of clay, sand & some drought once established. Not recommended for areas with high humidity or extreme heat. Cut back in Fall or Spring to refresh. From Italy.
