Rich salmon-pink throats contrast with pale coral lower petals that fade to cream, making a sophisticated long-lived addition to cut flower arrangements. Hummingbirds will be all over these! Blooms all year in temperate areas and Spring thru Fall in colder Winter climates. This shrubby 2-3’ tall and 1-2’ wide mint relative produces large, aromatic, oval-shaped green leaves on sturdy erect stems. Prune back by a third in Fall to maintain best habit. Prefers rich, well-draining soil and benefits from a side dressing of compost in Spring. Heat tolerant, deer resistant and attracts bees, butterflies, and hummers!
