Native to forest clearings in Somalia, this Salvia is strange in having flowering branchlets on each stem in addition to a terminal flower. Totally bizarro for a Salvia! These delightful & odd pale lavender blooms appear in early Summer & continue the show through Fall. Chartreusey yellow-green foliage pops next to blues & greens. Bonus points for deer repelling, fragrant 4” leaves that bear resemblance to S. mellifera. Good drainage & weekly Summer water for the best show. To 5’ high & 3’ wide.
