If you haven’t yet tried growing Laurentia axillaris, do give it a go - it looks good everywhere! SO many pretty blooms burst out like fireworks all around a well shaped, roundish & bright ferny green form to 18” high & wide. Beginning a month or two after planting, the flowering goes on for several months. Then cut back to 4” tall, side-dress with 1” of compost and watch it spring back into bloom. An enchanting frothy edger & great in a pot! Self-sows, too! Woo-hoo! Originally from Australia it prefers well drained rich soil.
