An easy to grow relative of Amaryllis, this spicy bulb is native to northern Argentina and boasts deep purple throated, trumpety masses of soft pink blooms with white interiors. Extra credit points for striking golden anthers and sweet grassy foliage! Makes marvelous cut flowers, too. Bloom time is Spring to early-Summer if you’re living on the East Coast or in the south, here in California it busts out the blooms in Winter, maybe even late-Fall depending on when the rains start back up. Growing to a sweet 12-18” tall and wide, it multiplies over time forming a nice sized clump. Pretty in pots!
