One of the most elegant Agaves, boasting symmetrically radiating powdery-blue-grey stiff leaves creating a compact spherical 16”x16” rosette. Contrasting black teeth and terminal spine. Densely held offsets form architectural clumps 2-3’ across. Eventually blooms in late Spring with purple-tipped green flowers on a candelabra stalk. Native to Oaxaca, Mexico, very heat tolerant and hardy to 20-25 degrees F. Stunning container specimen. Excellent drainage. Deer resistant.
