This fascinating and easy-to-grow inclusion to the Zinnia elegans ‘Queens’ series is just as straight up gorgeous as you could hope for. Masses of blooms (to 3 ½”) with electric-to-creamy sub-LIME petals that morph outward into a delicate peach blush, radiate out from a vibrant crimson center. The pollinators will most definitely show up to give their seal of approval! The strapping stems need no support and briskly grow as high as 48”, offering up luxuriant masses of blooms. Keep cutting these double and (perhaps just a few) single multi-hued Zinnias to keep the show going strong from Summer to Fall! For best results, aim for 6 hours of full sun - a little shade can be tolerated but your ‘Queen’ may be slightly less bloomy. A variety of well-draining soils will suffice, but some nutrient-rich compost will be most appreciated. Let your soil dry out between watering. Disease and mildew resistant but be sure and water at the base of the plant. “Queen Lime Peach’ makes for a magnificent long-lasting bouquet, and adds such an undeniably lovely varicolored aspect to a sunny bed or large container.
