Festivus maximus! Each bloom on this bold, MITE RESISTANT Fuchsia is a tropical fruit salad of colors – coral orange, pink, magenta and lime! Blooms for a LONG time – Spring-Fall and PROFUSELY – established plants can bear up to 30 blooms per stem. It grows into a shrubby 5-7’ tall, 3’ wide shrub with deep green, glossy foliage that will stay evergreen in frost free climes. Sadly rare in the trade, this species was generously shared with us by Strybing Arboretum in San Francisco, whose Fuchsia collection is renowned and superb! Very tender, so protect from frost and damaging cold, especially during the first year. Easily grown in a large container, so you can move it inside during the Winter if you live outside of its hardiness range. From Bolivia and Peru. Oh, wait - did I mention the hummingbird magnet factor? Or the tasty edible fruits it produces? Deer resistant, too!
