The Indestructibles!
Our tried-and-true can't-kill-'em favorites!

Does someone you know ... murder plants?

Let's face it, we've all accidentally under-watered, over-watered, under-nourished, over-loved, neglected or otherwise sent one plant or another to its doom. It's okay – gardening is a learning process. You can read and research all day long, but there's nothing like hands-in-the-dirt experience (and yes, learning from mistakes) that's a hallmark of a seasoned gardener.

Or maybe you're a beginning gardener looking for something easy-to-grow and hard-to-kill while you develop your chops? Our ever-expanding cast of Indestructibles are ultra-easy going and hard working – they're guaranteed to boost your confidence and hone your skills!

Whether shopping for yourself or ... ahem ... a friend, all these tough-as-nails knockouts ask is this:

1) Regular water to get them started. Planting them now gives them plenty of time to get established before things get really hot and heavy next Summer.

2) Decent soil so they can spread their roots out and prosper (turn over the soil and add some quality compost from an independent garden center).

3) Good drainage. Some of our extra toughies don't need perfect drainage, but if you go the extra mile and add a little lava rock, you – and your plants – will be so much happier.
