Sisyrinchium californicum “Yellow-Eyed Grass”

Native to Coastal California from Monterey County and northward, “Yellow-Eyed Grass” is almost ever blooming as long as it has ample moisture. 8” to 12” tall and wide, numerous sunny yellow star-flowers are borne just above the tufted, grass-like, smooth foliage. Nice as edging or next to a water feature or water faucet for maximum bloom. Foliage darkens in Fall and should be cut back.
