Salvia barrelieri

From Spain and North Africa comes this little known, striking Salvia. Forming basal rosettes of bluish-green foliage, it then sends up stalks 3’ to 5’ tall and wide bearing large and showy, lavender-blue flowers, Summer thru Fall. Long blooming and long lived, it tolerates part shade and is hardy to 10 degrees. Attracts hummingbirds. To 3’ high and 5’ wide (flowers can reach 5’ high).
