These tubers will offer up soft ferny foliage in early spring, which in time will set forth a profusion of large flowers each held upon sturdy stems reaching… Each flower is a unique treat of pillowy soft pinks. Ranunculus (also known as Persian buttercups) can be planted in containers or in garden beds, and are cultivated to be ideal as long-lasting cut flowers. (Half Clone Ranunculus are bred from a combination of tissue culture and seeds, leading to their distinctive name.) Best in fertile, well-draining soil spaced 4” to 6” and at a depth of 1” to 2”.
