Bidens ferulifolia
‘Blazing Glory’

This vigorous and long-blooming ground cover, native to the American Southwest, displays showy gold flowers with red tips all summer long. The one-inch daisy-like flowers smother the finely dissected dark green foliage so completely you hardly notice it! The flowers are a magnet for bees and butterflies, making this durable plant ideal for a pollinator garden. Perfect for spilling over a low rock wall or for cascading out of a hanging basket. Staying low but spreading (6”x18”), this short-lived, mounding charmer will survive the winter in zones 9b and higher or can be grown as a floriferous annual in colder zones. It loves the heat and can flourish with just a little water. Plant in full sun to light shade in fertile well-drained soil. Cut back occasionally to reinvigorate. Deer resistant.
