‘Madame Alfred Carriere’

Gorgeous, snow white, fully double flowers are the calling card of this climbing rose. Though classified as a Noisette, the 30 petal count blooms of this vigorous rose are more of a Hybrid Tea in shape. The 4” cupped flowers are intensely fragrant, first opening the palest of pinks, then maturing to a creamy white. It grows quickly to 20' and as a bonus is nearly thornless! That makes it easier to train on a trellis or to prune. Blooming begins in mid-summer and continues well into the late fall. This rose makes an outstanding focal point and requires little care once established. Plant in full sun in fertile well-drained soil. Prune to shape. This David Austin rose, a prestigious Award of Garden winner from the Royal Horticultural Society, is sure to provide years of fragrant delight.
