Anemone
'Giant Lord Lieutenant'

10 Bulbs per Bag

A gorgeous, vibrantly purple, double-blossom Anemone sporting rows of lightly cupped petals offset by black centers. First forming 12” high clumps of finely divided green leaves, the 3” flowers pop open in Spring atop sturdy stems and keep on coming into Summer. Butterflies love the nectar-rich flowers on this easy to grow bulb. Ideal for offsetting yellows from “Daffodils” or Freesias. Plants go dormant in September but return faithfully the next Spring. They make excellent cut flowers, adding dazzling color to arrangements. Plant in well-drained soil 4” deep and 3” apart in full sun near the coast or in light shade in hotter areas. Soaking the small corms overnight before planting will facilitate a quick start. Deer and rabbit resistant.
