Impatiens glandulifera
‘Wine Red’
“Policeman’s Helmet”

So new and so rare! Ray Brown, owner of Rare Plants Nursery and garden in Devon, England, has come up with this new selection of “Policeman’s Helmet.” The very large flowers are “darkest burgundy” and dangle at the ends of multi-branching stems. It’s a big plant - 3’ to 4’ tall, extremely easy and fast growing. Impatiens glandulifera prefers bright shade or part shade (morning sun is OK) and rich, loamy soil. Reseeds easily, so you’ll have fresh plants every year!
