Salvia wagneriana
'Frosty Kiss'

Blooms from Fall well into Spring, with 1’ long flower spikes each comprised of multiple 1.5” brilliant pink tubular blooms with white interiors and culminating in a showy, chubby white bract. Absolutely stunning when the blossoms catch the sunlight! This showy sub-shrub quickly reaches 6-10’ tall and wide with lovely, felty leaves. It can be kept more compact with an annual pruning in Summer. Best planted in humus-enriched, well-drained soil. Deep water once a week. Hummingbirds love these candy-floss pink flowers so be sure to plant this shrub where you’ll appreciate regular visitors. As far as hummers are concerned, these flowers give ‘good lip’!
